The Horse Lords are so named not only for their skill at riding, but for the nobility of their steeds themselves. Charged with protecting the King and Court, the heavily armoured Royal Guard thunder across the battlefield and crash against battlelines, as masters of steed and of warfare. 

Those who hold aloft the banner of the Royal House are often mounted so that it's colours can been seen among the dust, dirt and blood of glorious battle.
